Every fortnight or so for a couple of hours on a Saturday, people are invited to join in the fun of singing in a choir with no necessity for a good singing voice., just a desire to have a good time.
In or around June each year we put on a trip to a seaside resort. On arrival the departure time is announced and then people can enjoy themselves however they please, but must be back on time to go home.
Now and again we have a bingo session on a Saturday evening where the aim is enjoyment rather than prizes, although minor prizes are given to the winners.

Most Sunday Services are followed by a time of fellowship with tea or coffee and biscuits. Sometimes there is even cake as a special treat.
For those who find it burdensome to hold a hymn book or bible, we have large TV screens which display various readings hymns and images depicting sections of the service. Of course the more traditional of us still have bibles and hymn books at hand.
When we have a quiz at church all are invited to form a team of a maximum of six people. It usually consists of 5 or six rounds and a picture quiz .and sometimes a music quiz. The questions are set at a reasonable level to give everyone a chance of scoring.
our events are often accompanied by refreshments and in some cases that means a potato pie supper or alternatives for those who prefer vegetarian options e.g. cheese and onion pie
We are hoping soon to appoint a new minister, which will be a shared minister with our partner church. This gives us the opportunity to listen to a variety of preachers when our minister is not on duty.
